I chose to draw a camera because it is something very important to me. My camera helps me capture moments in life so I can later go and be reminded of them. For my first drawing I just drew my camera. I took a photo of my camera and turned it into black and white so I was able to see the highlights. The second drawing was the transforming one. It was very hard for me to come up with an idea to transform it into. One of my general ideas was to turn the lens into a snow globe. I did lots of googling and came across an artist that drew a scene with a glass ball. This artist named M. C. Escher inspired me. I then realized it was very complicated so I changed my idea once again. The camera cord always reminded me of a vine. I then came with the idea of a glass ball with plants inside it. I am very proud of the transforming drawing as it was very difficult to draw the plants but I was abele to do it after many attempts.
